Although not en suite, the bathroom was private and huge. The continental breakfast was so good, I didn't need anything cooked. Comfortable and clean beds. Ample storage space.
Dislikes:
Nothing. My business was the other side of Glasgow and the morning traffic was very slow. This is not the fault of the proprietors but my own poor research.

This is also a convenient point from which to easily tour the surrounding area. Young or old, you will feel welcomed here. If you need an early start, we will be helpful. If you come in late, that presents no problem.
The Knowes is a 1920’s bungalow set in an attractive garden in a residential street. Traditional furniture and well chose art works make The Knowes a place to remember. Shops, restaurants, takeaways, post office, banks, parks and municipal golf courses are all close by.
The Knowes is also well placed for day trips north to Stirling, The Trossachs and Perth, east to Edinburgh and west to Loch Lomond and the scenic west coast.
