The staff seemed friendly, the room temperature was just right and the breakfast was nice.
Dislikes:
The overall appearance of the Hotel was shabby and old fashoined and the rooms were basic, in desperate need of a makeover.

The room was small, but adequate for our needs. Upon check-in, we dropped our bags and headed into the bar for a drink before heading away to the party. Online reservations were easy to make. The car park was handy and the check-in was friendly.
Dislikes:
Mattress was broken, toilet was broken, hot water was off for most of the morning. I had higher expectations (because of the superb website) than what we received.

We stayed for 3 nights as we were going to a wedding at the hotel. Location is excellent, on the main bus route into town with frequent service. Our room was a little 'tired' but clean with good facilities. The whole hotel could probably do with a bit of updating, but actually we found its old fashioned decor quite charming. Had trouble with the heating but a member of staff was there within seconds and sorted it out. Food was good, we ate in restaurant mprning and evening and it was fab. Read less
