The Countryman’s is a traditional village country pub in the village of Hunton, Nr Bedale, North Yorkshire, "The Gateway to the Dales" but close to the A1 to allow easy access within the hour to, historic York, Newcastle, Harrogate and Leeds. We are close to Catterick Garrison, Bedale, Richmond and Leyburn. We are 5 miles from the large race horse training centre of Middleham. Guided stable visits and transport to the excercise grounds of Middleham Moor can be arranged.

We have a selection of up to 5 cask-conditioned ales, 3 brewed within 10 miles of the pub! If you have "customer feedback" why not share it with the head brewer of one of our "legendary" local breweries, You can find him at the bar most evenings!
