We stayed in the Fistral Suite which had been recently refurbished to an exceptional standard. The interior design of the room and the ensuite bathroom was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the room very spacious.The guesthouse was well situated within a 5 min walk from both Fistral beach and the town centre. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. I was called the night before I was due to stay to advise that renovation work was being carried out at the property. Our stay was disturbed by workmen and the room upgrade was not great. We were disturbed in the morning by the owners talking loudley and the kids as they were using the room below us!!! We should have been given a discount on the room rate as we could not relax there!!! Read less

The owner was very friendly but at the end of the day we are paying to have a relaxing weekend which we did not get
Dislikes:
Dirty, noisey, dusty, house, small room, dining room full of workmans tools.

yes sorry renovations were running over and your booking was not noticed in the diary until the day before otherwise you would have been given more notice although the room your were given was uneffected by the renovations. I am sorry you heard our children in the kitchen below . all rooms have had soundproofing and refurbishment which is now finished . you never complained to me or asked for any discounts at the time of check in or out !

Cotehele Lodge is a newly renovated charming B&B. The room we had was big enough for the three of us and disposed of a four-poster-bed, a comfortable sofa-bed, TV and open log fire. The breakfast Nick prepared was awesome.
The harbour and the shops are within walking distance. Read less

Cotehele Lodge Guesthouse Newquay was a former Naval Officer's lodge and the building maintains some of it's original features such as stained glass windows and ingle-nook fires.
We offer a range of rooms and 2 self-catering apartments, depending on your taste and budget. We have full central heating, newly refurbished bedrooms equipped with en-suite/bath facilities/tea & coffee making facilities/colour TV/movie channel and sea views from some of our rooms.
The Cotehele Suite to give you a room example comprises of a King size four-poster bed, open log fire, 3 seater sofa and bay window breakfast/dining area.
