Charleston House offers Bed & Breakfast accommodation in an elegant Georgian Townhouse in the centre of Edinburgh.

All rooms are decorated to a high standard and retain many original features. Situated in an upmarket residential location, Charleston House offers visitors a central location for those who simply want to relax, whilst at the same time is ideally situated to enjoy Edinburgh's many attractions. We are only a short bus ride to Princes Street, one of the world's most famous shopping boulevards. With its impressive range of smaller shops and department stores, Princes Street is almost guaranteed to leave you with tired feet and an empty wallet! There is so much more to shopping in Edinburgh though, and we highly recommend you also take a walk up the Royal Mile and the Grassmarket area where there are many quaint and specialist shops waiting to be explored.

All rooms are well equipped. Some rooms have en-suite facilities and the standard rooms have wash hand basins. Private bathrooms are available. The carved oak fire surround is a feature of the Dining room, which is decorated in a colour scheme reminiscent of the nineteenth century, lending a relaxed atmosphere for our full traditional Scottish breakfast. As an alternative to our traditional cooked Scottish Breakfast, guests can enjoy a continental breakfast. We can also cater for vegetarians and those with special dietary requirements.
