We had a wonderful and peaceful one night at the Bay. The position of the hotel was perfect - we had splendid sea views, and the climb up the stairs was worth it! The room was spotless and very quiet - we slept well. The breakfast set us up for the rest of the day. We would certainly return. The short weekend break was refreshing and a rest cure! Read less

Dislikes:
Lack of parking and worrying that we were blocked in by another guest's car. I didn't much like breakfast in the cellar - I would have preferred a view; I would have preferred a queen size bed & duvet

A satisfactory stay - just a few niggles. The room was a little small to sit having a drink and looking at the sea view. The lack of natural light in the shower was a disappointment. The bed linen was basic - duvets that are too small and slipped off. Larger ones are required, or old-fashioned sheet! The basement dining room has a poor atmosphere - OK for breakfast, not for dinner. Overall, a little pricey for the facilities, but a good position. Read less
