The hotel is one-two mins from the national express and train stations on foot. Also the staff was very helpful and friendly. I'd say Ashleigh hotel is ideal for single travellers and couples.
Dislikes:
One thing that could be improved is the beds. The single beds in a twin room are a little small and a bit uncomfortable. However, other than that the room is beautiful and the price very reasonable.

Did not really see alot of anybody but there was always a bell to ring if you required any service. We found the fact that you were given a key to come and go as you please very welcoming for a b&b establishment. There was a good choice of breakfast available, and found that the service was very good and friendly. Overall a good stay. Read less

The heating was kept on a constant so we never felt cold. Having our own door key. Good location! Found the room very cosy.
Dislikes:
Room was not exactly up to the standard of the deluxe that we payed for.
Bar did not appear to be open when we wanted, maybe as it was very quiet in the hotel?

Most tvs have dvds built in the side of them, the 42in tvs do not and we supply upon request a dvd player for guest use, this is in the guest information pack.
Sorry bulb broke its just one of those things, I trust my staff replaced it as soon as you told them.

The Ashleigh Hotel is conveniently located for the sea, shops and shows; with a good location for travel links, being close to Bournemouth International Airport, Poole Ferry Port, and the train & coach connections. We offer a high standard of accommodation and cleanliness.
We invite you to holiday in relaxed and informal surroundings in order to enjoy this ideal base for short trips to see attractions such as Poole Quay and historic Christchurch, with its castle ruins and Norman Priory; Corfe Castle and Swanage (linked by restored steam railway) in the Purbecks; the ancient New Forest, now a National Park, and Beaulieu where the National Motor Museum is located. Local coach companies offer a wide itinerary and much of the locality can be enjoyed from open-top buses.
We have a variety of rooms available, all uniquely decorated in a modern, contemporary style. All bedrooms are ensuite, complete with hairdryer and Flat screen TV with Freeview channels, and enjoy the benefit of tea and coffee making facilities.
We are just completing a major refurbishment programme and have now completed all of the bedrooms and dining room area and have included a comfortable lounge seating area. This just leaves the hall and stairway areas to be finished, some divine interior decorating inspiration needed. We are very pleased with the results and we try to ensure that the last remaining work will not impact at all on your stay.
Please note that whilst the proprietors and staff of the Ashleigh Hotel are gay friendly, we do not accept single sex group party bookings such as stag or hen parties. Any booking found to be such on arrival, will not be admitted and will be expected to settle any outstanding amount.
