We want our guesthouse to reflect everything we like about staying in Brighton. Guest in the City therefore takes the best bits of a traditional B&B – a relaxed, friendly service, a central location and of course a top-notch breakfast with locally sourced ingredients – and puts them in modern, high-spec surroundings. The result is a boutique feel without luxury prices. To us, that’s what Brighton is all about – finding new things that surprise you and make you smile.

We have seven private bedrooms, situated in the heart of Kemptown, minutes from the centre of Brighton including “The Lanes”, 30 seconds from the beach and the world famous Brighton Pier. Our Superior rooms boast stained glass windows depicting scenes of Brighton as well as balconettes with illuminated seating and partial sea views. Room facilities include Wi-Fi, IPod Dock, Tea and Coffee Facilities (Except Mini-double), Complimentary welcome pack, Duck and Goose Down Duvets and Toppers, Egyptian Cotton Linen, Luxury Complimentary Toiletries, En-suite facilities (Except Mini-double which has Private Facilities), Shaving point and Flat Screen TV/DVD/CD Player.

Brighton offers something for everyone. The beachfront is a buzzing playground of swimming, surfing, sailing, basketball, volleyball, skateboarding and more. Away from the water there are plenty of activities - Brighton Races, The Royal Pavilion or The Sea Life Centre.

Shopping in Brighton is a must. Wander through the 17th century Brighton Lanes and browse through antiques, jewellery and famous labels or check out Brighton's North Laine for a laid-back bohemian charm and over 300 unique, individual and quirky shops, offering everything from vintage clothing to vegetarian shoes.

Brighton’s nightlife can be as crazy or refined as you wish it to be. From the finest Restaurants and Cocktail bars to clubbing and pubbing, Brighton has it all in abundance. With a rich vein of talent and creativity it is easy to stumble upon live music.
