The welcome, the help, the cleanliness and the food. Diana could not have been a better hostess - the best on my entire walk.
Dislikes:
I prefer a firmer bed but I recognize that may not be to everyone's liking. I also prefer a bath to a shower but even so, the bathroom was beautifully clean and I cannot complain.

If you are a walker you could be on Hadrians wall in a matter of 10 mins. With great views from atop the craggs. If you're interested in some history, the Roman Army museum is also within walking distance. They play a 3D movie re-enactment of life for the Romans and locals. If you are stuck for ideas, Diane has a great local knowledge and some great suggestions. Read less

We offer two double bedrooms and one twin bedded room all on the ground floor. All have complete en-suite facilities together with remote control T.V, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.
After a good night's sleep, a hearty breakfast will set you up for the day, using local produce where possible. We offer a full English breakfast, choices of cereal, croissants, fruit, tea and coffee and a variety of juices. Evening meals are also available, by prior request.
As well as your room we also offer dry room facilities and ample parking at the rear of the property. Outside dog kennels are available at an extra cost.
