A friendly welcome immediately made us feel at home in this spotless guest house only ten minutes' walk uphill from Whitby town centre. Our warm and cosy en-suite room, although overlooking the main Scarborough - Teesside road, had a comfortable bed and the traffic barely troubled us. Breakfast was a veritable feast that fuelled us well for tackling Whitby's hills. Very easy to find, and with private parking, we would highly recommend this B&B to anyone who likes homeliness. Dislikes:
Almost nothing. The only thing we had trouble with was the very dark picture on the rather small TV/DVD player. (The remote control menu is in French, but we soon found the brilliance control.)

We offer a high standard of accommodation to tourists, walkers, golfers, cyclists and more. Whitby has lots to see and do for all age groups.
There is a choice of tastefully decorated large, spacious king size, double en-suite,or twin rooms each offering TV, DVD, hair dryer and hospitality trays. Fresh towels and complimentary toiletries are also provided and housekeeping is done daily We offer a range of breakfast options using local produce whenever possible.
For those wanting to experience the history of the town, visit Whitby Abbey and the 199 steps, Pannet Park, the Whalebone Arch and Captain Cook’s monument. For the occasional (!) rainy day why not try The Spa Complex , Whitby Leisure Centre and Pool, Whitby Museum in the park and the numerous shops selling Whitby jet? Don’t forget the Dracula experience and ghost walks.
We have PRIVATE PARKING and a double garage with storage.
