Description

The Paragon is a guest house establishment located in Scarborough. The Paragon is a quiet, family run hotel, well equipped, with magnificent views over the north bay and Scarborough Castle. We emphasise our home cooking and friendly atmosphere. The Paragon with its stunning sea views over the north bay and Scarborough's medieval castle offers you an ideal base to explore the delights of Scarborough. Wander through the old town steeped in history, the harbour and lighthouse pier or just sit and watch the many ships and boats sailing across the bay. Located close to the many fine cafes and restaurants. Visit the world famous Stephen Joseph Theatre where Sir Alan Ayckbourn previews his plays before taking them to London. The Paragon offers an excellent base to explore coast and countryside. You’ll find a night life to suit everyone available, including numerous bars, cinemas and a new casino, the Spa with its Music and shows. Then you can relax and visit the parks and gardens with which the town won The Britain in Bloom. Within a short drive of the town you can explore the quaint villages where Heartbeat and The Royal are filmed, or visit Castle Howard and the North Yorkshire Moors, for further adventure why not take a step back in time and travel by steam train from Pickering to Whitby.
