It's not a hotel it was self catering. The facilities were excellent. So too the location. Such a fantastic attention to detail by the owners and a lovely peaceful place to rest at the end of the day.

We enjoyed our week's stay in Alnwick. The Gardens and Castle offered much to interest us, and there were plenty of other places in very easy reach (Bamburgh, Holy Island, Berwick). Plenty of good places to eat (Lilburns, Carlo's, The Treehouse Restaurant, Caffe Tirreno, Hardy's). A much-needed break, and exactly right for us. Read less
