We pride ourselves on our commitment to provide quality accommodation, attention to detail and friendly service. The Windmill is an 18th Century Grade II listed building the last remaining windmills in Scarborough.
We have 2 lovely suites, each on 2 floors, in the Windmill itself both newly refurbished. The Balcony Suite is for adventurous adults and the lower Windmill Madeline Suite, which is more spacious, also for 2 adults but with a travel cot if baby comes too! Both suites benefit from comfortable king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms with a shower on one floor with facilities of an electric hob/oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer so you cater for yourselves, on another floor.
Our 3 Premier Four Poster rooms are designed with comfort in mind and are located on the veranda over the courtyard. Each room has a king-size bed, a generous hospitality tray, hairdryer and LCD flat screen colour TV with Freeview. A hearty home made breakfast is taken in the dining room on the ground floor of The Windmill, where you can select from a number of vegetarian options, a full English or Yorkshire Oak Smoked Kippers. Whilst enjoying breakfast, you will also be able to view our collection of toys from 1960s onwards.
We have recently converted our ground floor rooms into 2 cottages each with 2 en-suite bedrooms and a lounge, kitchen dining room. Cottage No 1 accommodates up to 4 adults and 1 child under the age of 12 and Cottage No 2 up to 4 adults. These Cottages have been designed with comfort in mind and can be occupied on a serviced or self-catering basis as both are fully equpped with electric hob/oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer.
There is free parking in the courtyard and when that is full there is parking in Mill Street via a permit which we provide free of charge.
For the comfort and benefit of all our guests, we do not accept pets and are a non-smoking establishment throughout.
