Holgate Bridge is within walking distance of the city’s main attractions: York Minster; the Castle Museum; York Races; the National Railway Museum; the Medieval city walls, the Jorvik Viking Centre and the Shambles. At the centre of Yorkshire, York is an ideal centre for visiting the county’s many attractions: Castle Howard (of Brideshead Revisited fame), Brontë country, James Herriot’s dales and moors and the rugged coast are all within an hour’s drive.
In addition we offer free secure parking in our own large car park to the rear of the property. For the railway enthusiasts the Flying Scotsman goes by daily in season. Whether visiting for business or pleasure, you are assured of warm Yorkshire hospitality and personal service.
