The food was tremendous and attention to detail was impeccable. We had a full Lancaster breakfast and afternoon tea and loved it all! For a 5 star hotel at these prices, I would have expected more in the bathroom, e.g toothpaste, tooth brush, slippers. It's London prices and London cool with local produce and surroundings and London prices! Read less

Tea and cake on arrival, fresh fruit outside your door on waking, your favourite newspaper, waffle robes to lounge in, exclusive pampering products from REN and a selection of art and design books to peruse. With massages also available this is the ultimate get-away-from-it-all-hotel.
Imaginative and lovingly prepared breakfasts use the best local ingredients such as Port of Lancaster Smokehoue kippers, breads from the Munx Lakeland Bakery or choose the traditional Lancashire breakfast complete with black pudding.
