Begonia House is a beautifully renovated 3 storey cottage in the heart of Alnmouth, on the unspoilt Northumberland coast. This recently renovated cottage is part of a former granary and is one of the oldest buildings in Alnmouth. It has a Grade II listing and includes original features such as an open fire and an Aga.
The cottage can sleep six people in three bedrooms. There is one double bedroom and two twin rooms, including an attic room with sea views. There are three bathrooms, one of which is an ensuite. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and a spacious sitting room with open fire and fabulous views over the golf course to the sea.
As the cottage is within minutes walking distance from the spectacular beach and all amenities, it is a perfect retreat for those wishing to experience all that the wonderful Northumberland coastline has to offer. Alnmouth is a coastal location with fantastic beach, golf course, children's play area, restaurants, pubs, shops all within minutes walk.
Transport is convenient, with the railway station within a mile of the village, just a short bus ride away. The rail line is on the London-Scotland link and connects Alnwick and Newcastle. Alnmouth is approximately 40 mins by car from Newcastle.
