Good location. Secure Car parking but gates were left open overnight which rather went against the words 'secure parking'!
Dislikes:
Heating was not on for long periods. Because of this I cannot recommend to others until this is put right.

The Chimneys Hotel built in 1925, previously known as The Trust and was mostly used by miners who worked at Blackhall Colliery. Now completely refurbished the hotel is very comfortable and a warm welcome awaits all.
The Ember Lounge Bar which was named in memory of the local miners who were the hotels loyal customers, it boasts an open coal fire and is decorated tastefully for a relaxing time. There is a welcoming bar and restaurant which is open for lunch and evening meals from 5pm
Chimneys is located located in Blackhall near the seafront and just 30 minutes from Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough. It is easy accessible from the A19 and provides an excellent base to explore the North East. Hartlepool and Durhams are also easily accessible
