Victoria Lodge is outstanding for comfort and frendliness. It is spotlessly clean and the rooms have excellent facilities. Jaqueline (the owner) provides a warm welcome and an excellent breakfast with plenty of choices and friendly service. For us it is the only place to stay in Linton and we would consider visiting other destinations for our walking weekends if we could have Victoria Lodge elsewhere as well!! Read less

Dislikes:
The room was quite a bit smaller than it appeared on the website but was otherwise all we needed. The shower gel provided smelt like it had gone off but otherwise everything else was great.

Victoria Lodge provides visitors to Exmoor with bed and breakfast accommodation in a large elegant Victorian home which exudes an air of calm and tranquillity. This stunning guest house was built in 1883 and retains much of its original character in its sumptuous decoration. It has been awarded 5 yellow stars and is Highly Commended by the AA, placing it within the top 10% of all 5 star rated guest accommodation.
Ideally situated in the centre of the village we are just 5-10 minutes' walk from the South West Coastal Path and 15 minutes from the spectacular Valley Of The Rocks. This B&B is an excellent base for exploring North Devon, being set in Exmoor National Park and 20 miles from Minehead, Barnstaple, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Croyde. Relax on our peaceful garden terraces or take in our beautiful and mature landscaped gardens, which passing strangers often stop to photograph! Indulge yourself in our extensive range of award-winning cooked and cold breakfasts.
Being conveniently located in central Lynton, several restaurants and cafes are five minutes' walk from our bed and breakfast accommodation. Free private parking and wireless internet for B&B guests. *Special Offer* - Stay 5 nights commencing on a Sunday between 19th March and 31st October 2010 and only pay for 4!
