We had a pleasent and comfortable stay at Rockview, we were only stopping one night but received a warm welcome and had a lovely breakfast. The beds were cmfortable and the room well decorated. The service was both friendly and welcoming. We found the stat good value for money considering it was half term. We would definately stay here agai and cam recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and well presented guest house in this area.

Most enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the well presented family room.
Dislikes:
We least liked the lack of parking space but this was a inor point as there was plenty of road parking around locally.

Although the heading of luxury was a little over stated we were both extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the whole guest house. Roger and Lesley were very welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast was very good quality. The guest house is extremely well situated in the centre of the town, relatively quiet and well situated for the surrounding area, especially Dartmouth where we were visiting for the Regatta.Read less

Rockview Guesthouse is a 3 star rated guesthouse set in the picturesque Devon town of Paignton. This central location gives easy access to the Paignton shopping centre, the Paignton pier on the sea front, and the picturesque Paignton Harbour. The central location of Rockview ensures that all of Paignton’s attractions are on your doorstep.
The seafront with its beautiful beach is just a 5 minute walk away, as is the shopping centre which is littered with boutiques, cafes & restaurants. The idyllic harbour is a 10 minute stroll. The capital of the English Riveria, Torquay is only 4 miles away. Slightly further away are the wondrous landscapes of Dartmoor, however this is still just a 30 minute drive.
We are a family run guesthouse and you are always assured of a warm family welcome together with home cooked food. We are very much of the "come as visitors and leave as friends" type of establishment. Car parking is available.
