The price of the thai chicken curry was a little steep (if i remember right it was about eleven pounds) as i can get this in other restaurants for about seven or eight pounds. It did taste great though. Read less

Please note that the price of the Thai Green Chicken Curry does include the rice as well, and we use local free range chicken breast which is currently more expensive to buy. We are trying to keep our menu choices and selections competative and reasonable given the current climate but without compromising on quality.

the edgcumbe is a family run beachside accommodation set in an unrivalled location with panoramic views over Summerleaze Beach, Hills & Downs, and valley of the river Neet. An ideal base to discover North Cornwall at any time of the year. Surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches and the cliffs which form part of the Cornish Coastal Path, Bude is in an exceptional location. A small coastal town providing local produce and wares. Whilst the town has many essential modern amenities, it has remained a peaceful and charming historic seaside town.
the edgcumbe is tastefully furnished in a boutique style to a high standard, with a relaxed cafe style shop style bar/lounge area, light contemporary Gallery Bistro and wonderful south facing conservatory with comfortable sofas and a outdoor patio area. All great places to enjoy our local food and drink!
The Gallery Bistro is open daily from 11:30 am - 3pm and 6:30 - 8.30 pm (excluding Thursdays)
We are a No-Smoking property. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets except guide dogs. Check-In time: 1400 and Check-Out time: 1030.
Environmental Statement
We have been members of CoaST, Cornwall sustainable tourism project for a year and we also joined Future Footprints - keeping the South West Special. With the help of these organisations we have learned and worked hard to become a more environmentally friendly business and help visitors to be more aware of environment around them and how they can help too!We currently recycle all cans, plastic bottles, paper, card and glass. We use energy efficient light bulbs throughout and actively turn off lights and other electircal equipment when not needed. The majority of our cleaning materials are eco friendly. We contiunally try to support and use our local small business, to purchase most of our food produce and other products to help with sustainable tourism and minimise packaging and milage. Our marketing printed materials such as brochures and headed paper are on recyled paper. We try as hard as we can be as environmenentally conciencious within our own limited restrictions.
