Owner was very friendly, and accommodation was good value for money. Can't comment any more than that as it was only an overnight stay.
Dislikes:
I booked and paid for two family rooms but it was very clear that one of the rooms was a twin with a z-bed and was a very small twin at that. Only being an overnight stay complaining was not necessary

The Rowcroft is a highly recommended licensed, 4 star guest accommodation family hotel in a great position, within a 100 metre level walk of glorious beaches and overlooking a tranquil park complete with boating lake. It is very well positioned for the many attractions of the Paignton Town centre - just 7 to 8 minutes walk away.
Our spacious dining room overlooks the park and wonderful sea views. You will have your own table to enjoy the fullest of cooked breakfasts or home-cooked dinners. We use only the freshest ingredients.
Even though all rooms have their own TVs with freeview boxes, you may prefer to relax in our residents lounge. The lounge is fan-cooled in summer and enjoys park and sea views.
The Rowcroft is fully licensed and our bar provides a relaxing place to drink and we offer a wide range of cooled bottled and canned beers, wines, spirits, liqueurs and soft drinks. Drinks may be charged to rooms. Wi-Fi is available to the business person.
The three rooms on the lower ground floor have limited views, but there are a large proportion that have either garden, park or sea views.
Please note that there is an additional single night supplement to be added to our rates - double and twin an extra £5 and family rooms an extra £10.
