On arrival there was a welcoming roaring fire. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. One bedroom had an ensuite shower, the other a bath with shower over,knowledge of this choice would have been good.One room had the smallest double bed i have ever slept in, a shame for a luxury priced stay.We were prepared for the lack of fine dining but the bistro food was disappointing and overpriced. The breakfast offered choice but cold croissant and aspects of the full english weren't great. Read less

The amazing views,the steam train at the bottom of the vineyard was amazing.The comfy leather sofas, in front of a roaring fire were lovely.
Dislikes:
The small double bed, no bath in one room(same price as the other).The disappointing food (bistro menu); the quality and choice, one of us had 3rd choice on a main.

Everything! Our room overlooked the vineyard and uninterrupted views of the beautiful countryside, and was very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful. The food was very good too.

We wanted to get away from all our friends and family and be alone together to see the new year and decade in as this was pour first new year together. It seemed like it was hundreds of miles from Bournemouth where we were coming from. The situation was beautiful, being near the castle, and for my partner it was the first time she had seen it. The bathroom had the best bath I have ever used. Gigantic and really comfotrable. Excellent water pressure lighting. Breakfast room caught the sun, good view of the Purbecks and steam train ran past.
Dislikes:
No buses into Corfe.
