Our studio comes with all linen/towels, double bed, stylish kitchen area, modern comfortable furniture, wired internet access, Sky tv and DVD player. The ground floor lobby has a freezer and washer/dryer while the first floor studio looks out to Salisbury Plain and the gardens. Use of the gardens and sunbathing areas is included with the sauna and hot tub by arrangement. Perfect for a couple wishing to be more independent.
Summerhayes is located in the village of Littleton Panell just 5 miles south of Devizes on the A360. The village is situated on the northern edge of Salisbury Plain; an ideal spot if you are looking for walking, cycling or riding activities. Stonehenge and Salisbury are a short drive away. Devizes, with its famous flight of locks on the Kennet and Avon canal, is well worth a visit; just a little further is Avebury, with its stone circle, and man made Silbury Hill. Bath with its Roman and Georgian history is about 40 minutes away by car. The village has a superb restaurant about ten minutes walk of Summerhayes and several pubs within a short drive.

Environmental Statement
We are keen advocates of recycling all paper, cardboard, bottles, cans and tins. Summerhayes compost green waste and cooked waste in a 'green cone'. Low energy lighting is used where appropriate and our laundry and freezer equipment is 'A' rated for efficiency and our electricity is purchased from Scottish Power H20 scheme (green energy). In the summer of 2009 our oil based CH and HW system was replaced by a very efficient air source heat pump. We have a Towel and Linen changing policy that takes into account guest choices in order to help protect our local environment. We endeavour to use low impact cleaning materials where suitable.
We purchase local products for our 'Wiltshire Breakfast' and use homemade bread and preserves. The weekly shopping is purchased within a 6 miles radius of the B & B.
Latest: Summerhayes is now a micro-generator having installed a 12 panel Photo-Voltaic array in Aug 2010 producing up to 2.8Kw, bring on the sunshine!
