We were warmly welcomed and shown to our beautiful, very clean room with immaculate and stylish en-suite bathroom. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The bed could not have been more comfortable and we found Brant House to be very peaceful and relaxing. The location was convenient for the various locations we needed to get to. Breakfast was served at the time of our choice and was more than adequate in quantity and quite delicious. Read less

Brant House is situated in the rural hamlet of Stragglethorpe. The peace and seclusion of an unspoilt 18th century country house amidst gardens in the heart of the English countryside. This delightful country house is furnished throughout with antiques creating an elegant and charming ambience. Situated on the Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire borders, close to the A17, 6 miles from the A1. Local attractions : Newark Antiques Fair, Belvoir Castle, Belton House, Lincoln Cahtedral, RAF Cranwell, Southwell Minster. All rooms overlook the garden and have en-suite baths or showers, as well as welcome trays with drinks, biscuits and fruit. There are additional rooms in the newly converted stables suitable for people with reduced mobility. The house also has Wi/Fi connection. PLEASE NOTE: Check In is from 17:00 to 21:00. Check Out by 10:30. Early Check Ins by arrangement. We are a no smoking accommodation.
