We were in Plymouth to see the University with our daughter and chose the Hotspur because it was so close to the campus. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the beds were so comfortable we had nice quiet rooms aswell which all in all made for a great experience. Should our daughter get in at Plymouth University we will be certainly be using it again. Read less

The Hotspur is a traditional family run Guest house in Plymouth, situated in an ideal position near the city centre and only a 4 min walk from Plymouth Railway Station. It is close to all amenities including the historic Hoe, The Barbican and leisure facilities, University, the Continental Ferry and the newly re-designed Plymouth Town Centre. The newly added Drake Circus shopping mall at a cost of £200+m has aided Plymouth's aspiring status as one of the major city centres in the U.K. We are only 3 miles from the Torpoint Ferry crossing making it an easy journey for visitors to H.M.S Raleigh. As experienced owners within the hospitality trade we pride ourselves on a high standard of cleanliness and service. The Hotspur Guesthouse is excellent value for money, a great stay for service, quality and cleanliness at an affordable price. We are a Non-smoking accommodation. No pets are permitted on the premises. 48 hour cancellation policy applies (We have a non-refundable deposit). Check-in time: 14:00 check-out time: 10:00 (We have a smoking Penalty Fee of £60 per Night).
