Description

Self Assessed 4 Stars Guest House

St Vincent House is a lovely grade II listed Georgian house built in 1834. It is named after the battle which took place at Cape St. Vincent, off the coast of Portugal and the bedrooms are named after ships which took part in the battle. The house retains many of its original features, fireplaces and a grand sweeping staircase. The ground floor bedroom and three first floor bedrooms have double or kingsize beds and en suite showers. The second floor rooms, which have baths, can be twin or superkingsize beds.

Please ring 01598 752720 to check room availability, as not all rooms are suitable for children or dogs.

Start the day with a hearty breakfast made with fresh local free range farm produce served in our elegant dining room with its high sash window overlooking our pretty cottage garden.

Lynton is the ideal location for walking, cycling and touring Exmoor and the magnificent North Devon Coast. We are only 200 yards from the coastal path and the famous Victorian water powered cliff railway.

Our front gate is the start of your adventure and, should you need any food & drinks,we can provide you with a packed lunch if you order the day before. An evening meal can be provided by arrangement.
