We spend a lot of time in Northumbria anyway, but this gem will mean that poor dad won't have to freeze setting up a caravan in cold weather on a driveway! Read less

Everything you could possibly need is already there, saves loads of hassle and means minimal required stuff to be piled into the car! Also dog friendly which is rare ;)

Ideally situated in the picturesque Northumberland village of Lowick in the heart of the Cheviot Hills, 5 miles from the famous Holy Island. Providing beautiful landscape and scenery all year round. This charming 19th Century cottage offers you comfortable and luxurious accommodation, full of character and very well equipped with modern facilities. Situated near to the coast, with miles of un-spoilt beaches, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The county is a haven of lovely walks, with quaint villages, ancient religious culture and steeped in history, with the cottage sitting at the gateway to the magnificent Cheviot Hills.
From a spacious lounge, complete with dining table and chairs, are French doors which lead to a large south facing garden with patio area. Fully equipped modern kitchen, 2 bedrooms with the capacity to sleep 6 people. Attractively furnished and decorated, perfect for couples and families; we also are happy to accept pets. The cottage is within walking distance of a shop and two family and pet-friendly pubs.
There is a large lawn area to the rear of the cottage, wonderful for children to play safely. The modern kitchen has everything you need including washing machine and dishwasher, with full central heating and combi boiler for continuous hot water.
The two bedrooms consist of one double with dormer window and one twin room, the cottage can sleep 4 with an additional sofa bed can sleep 6, cot and stair gate are available.
