Woodlands Country House Hotel is a 3 star AA Rated Hotel and a One Rosette Restaurant, which lies at the foot of Brent Knoll, Somerset. Within this charming and traditional country house, an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation has been created.
The hotel is set in 4 acres of grounds which lead to countryside walks and stunning scenery. Tucked away in the stunning Somerset landscape, this is an area steeped in legend and spectacular beauty that enthralls all visitors. Woodlands Country House Hotel is far from the bustle of everyday life, yet some of the most idyllic destinations in the south west are only a stone's throw away, including the splendour of Bath, the history of Bristol, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and Exmoor.
To help maintain this stunning scenery, we offer a 'Going Green' special, which includes two nights of accommodation, dinner and breakfast at a special tariff, with a complimentary rail transfer to and from our local station, and complimentary bicycles with which to explore the area - as long as you don't drive!
All of our country hotel rooms are individually classic, so at the day's end you can freshen up en-suite, and perhaps peruse the menu on the four poster. However you would like to spend your time, you will find something at Woodlands Hotel. Take in the views from the sun terrace or sink into the chair by the fire. We would like you to please yourself. With 30 years of hotel experience, owners Peter and Glenda Botes, are perfect hosts - nothing, it seems, is ever too much trouble.
