Well situated, The Shirley is located in a lovely quiet road, away from the traffic noise of the main road, yet only seven minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and bars, harbour and marina. Also only a short distance from the Riviera International Conference Centre. The location is great for eating out or exploring the beauty of Torbay, with over 22 miles of unspoilt coastline, 18 beaches, secluded coves and the spectacular, rugged Dartmoor National Park.

We are only 1.5 miles from Babbacombe and its famous cliff walk and only one mile from Kents Cavern. There is a large comfortable bar/lounge and an elegant dining room. The extensive breakfast menu includes the traditional full English option with local bacon, butchers sausages and free-range eggs. Guests are also able to choose from kippers, omlettes, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on muffins or pancakes and maple syrup. We also offer a continental option. We are able to cater for guests on a vegitarian or gluten free diet.

All bedrooms are en-suite and well equipped with flat screen Freeview TVs with integrated DVD, hairdryers, clock radios and free Wi-Fi connection. We also provide towels, facecloths, hot bevarage making facilities and complimentary biscuits, bottled water and branded toiletries. There are convenient water coolers located on each floor. We also have a heated outdoor swimming pool which is available during the Summer months. The Shirley is a completely non-smoking hotel and there is free on-site, off-road parking for guests.
