en-suite bathroom was very clean and water always hot
and plentiful. We found the restaurant service excellant and the food superb. Breakfast more than adequate to start the day! Read less

The friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble and made us feel most welcome. The quality of meals and menu choice was excellent and always hot and well presented!
Dislikes:
Creaking hinges on bedroom & hall door, noisey floorboards in the downstairs hall. The Freeview TV reception was poor. Constantly interrupted with intermittent interference. Poor channel selection.

Red House is an AA 2 star, family run hotel located one mile from Exeter City Centre in the village of Whipton. Offering quality accommodation and a friendly service, the hotel is ideal for exploring Dartmoor and Exmoor or visiting Cornwall and the Eden Project.
Our restaurant features an extensive a la carte menu as well as a daily all you can eat carvery (except Saturdays). We also have a bar for guests and non-residents with a selection of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails and a Sunday quiz night.
Exeter’s major attractions include the cathedral, historic quay & guildhall. The beautiful Crealey Park is also nearby and well worth a visit. Exeter Airport is only 15 miles away & safe car parking can be arranged.
