Dan y Parc is conveniently located on the A483, making it an ideal base for exploring the beautiful counties of Carmarthenshire, Mid Wales, Ceredigion and the Brecon Beacons National Park, whether it be by car, cycle, on foot, horseback or carriage.
We have four comfortably furnished en suite bedrooms, all with tea/coffee making facilities, digital colour television, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks, and free wifi internet access. A spacious beamed guest lounge, with a cosy log fire, is available for your use and provides an additional area in which you can relax, read a book, watch television, or play a board game.
A hearty breakfast, using produce sourced locally, and our own free range eggs, is served in our light and airy breakfast room, or on sunny days can be served outside on the decking. Vegetarian, or special dietary needs, can be catered for on request.
Packed lunches and afternoon teas can also be provided if required. Freshly prepared home cooked three course evening meals, again using produce sourced locally and our own homegrown fresh vegetables, when available, are also available with twenty four hours' notice, at £20 per person. You are welcome to bring wine to accompany your meal.
A woodland walk leading up to a swing seat at the top of the hill behind the house affords panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons and Red Kites can regularly be seen circling the ancient oak trees on the hillside, some of which are said to be over 500 years old.
For those who wish to bring their horse on holiday, four spacious rubber matted stables are available, together with a turnout paddock. There are many miles of spectacular outriding, walking and cycling routes in the Crychan and Halfway Forests which are easily accessed from the back of Dan y Parc.
Well behaved dogs are welcome - there are lots of places in the area to exercise them.
