Many things- the rooms were lovely and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect- only about 15 minutes walk into the centre and right by a park with a lake. Amazingly early check in time.
Dislikes:
The room was a little cold. The heating only came on at certain times. Duvet was warm though! It was a bit unclear who was staff and one staff member was not that friendly.

Our hosts were very friendly and knowledgable. We were made to feel at ease and felt very comfortable in our double en-suite room.
Dislikes:
Toilet flushing system was noisy. A minor detail(just nit-picking really).

At Lakeside we pride ourselves on offering guests a home from home experience in contemporary surroundings.
We offer a range of accommodation including single, double, twin and family bedrooms. All rates are inclusive of full English breakfast, car parking and VAT.
Lakeside is only a 10 minute walk or short bus ride away from the heart of Oxford and it's historical University Colleges.
Guests are recommended to visit the newly renovated Oxford Castle, the Ashmoleon or one of our free museums, or take the city sightseeing tour from an open-top bus. Alternatively enjoy a stroll through Christ Church Meadows to the Botanical Gardens or go punting along the River Cherwell.
Oxford has over 630 listed buildings and attractions including cosmopoliton shops, famous restaurants and traditional pubs to be embraced by all.
