"unwelcoming staff."
The facilities were adequate and clean. However when we arrived the guest house was locked up and noone there. I had to call the proprietor who told me he did not realise anyone had booked in for the night and he was twenty miles away. He did not apoligise on the phone and was belligerent in his manner when he was asked to return to let us in. His manner was that we were an unconvenience and he moaned that we were preventing him from going to his cricket club dinner. He took 3/4 hour to return. Read less
Likes:
The room was comfortable and there was a full breakfast both cereal and full english.
Dislikes:
The manner of the proprietor as noted above. We were not made to feel welcome and when he did finally turn up his first words were to ask me to show him the booking form to prove the booking.
