"Charming, easy going and friendly hotel"
Firstly, we were met by the owner who turned out be friendly and approachable. We were using our bikes and this wasn't a problem at all. It's only about 5 mins walk to the town centre as well. On the way back you can see the stars and it's very tranquil and quiet. It's a great place to explore a wonderful and friendly town like Ventnor. Can't comment on parking as we didn't use it. Likes:
The bed was comfy. It was quiet and friendly place to be. The owner was helpful and cheerful as well. We sorted out brekfast when we arrived as well so no need to worry about that.
Dislikes:
I could say the breakfast (the size of it) but that would be a bit harsh because the owner had explained that his wife was away for the weekend. So not a good point.

Cornerways is a former Marine Villa, understood to date back to 1870. Set within a quiet elevated location, with views over the English Channel and St Boniface Down, the highest point on the island at 750 ft above sea level. Situated within close reach of both the picturesque village of Bonchurch and the popular seaside resort of Ventnor with its attractive esplanade, shops, restaurants and local fishing trips are available from the Ventnor Haven.

Ventnor is located on the southern most part of the Isle of Wight, enjoying an enviable sunshine record, referred to by many as a micro-climate. Ventnor has been the favourite holiday destination of many of England's artists, poets and writers. Charles Dickens wrote of Ventnor "... the prettiest place I ever saw in my life".

English breakfast is served in an attractively decorated dining room and offering drinks in a licensed bar, which is also open to non-residents. Guests can relax in a separate lounge with access onto the well tendered gardens.

All 9 en suite rooms are well decorated. Two of the largest rooms offer superior accommodation, with amazing views of the English Channel and are examples of Victorian architecture with their 15 ft ceilings. The owners strive to give you an informal and relaxed atmosphere during your stay.
