Redwell Fisheries

Set in tranquil surroundings with 13 acres of lake and deciduous woods only minutes from Junction 35 of the M6 motorway, Redwell Fisheries is located in a small valley between the lovely market town of Kirkby Lonsdale and Carnforth. Privately owned and run, this is a perfect base to explore the coast or beautiful surrounding countryside and is only half a hour from Blackpool, the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.

Our new, picturesque and well laid out touring caravan site opened in July 2000 and can accommodate up to 18 units. It has already proved to be a very popular base for cyclist, walkers and bird watchers, not to mention those hardened anglers who will sit patiently for many hours waiting for the big one to come along - and there are plenty of them in the waters of Redwell Fisheries!

Self Catering: We have two self catering apartments available, one of which is suitable for disabled guests. The apartments overlook the lake where you will have a prime fishing area. Both apartments are comfortably furnished and centrally heated. Your car can be parked just a few yards from the front door of the apartment. Cycles and fishing tackle can be safely stored in a secure locked area if required. The apartments can be booked for seven nights commencing on a Saturday, four nights commencing on a Monday, or three nights commencing on a Friday.

Caravan Site: This is a small, beautifully situated touring caravan site, with room for 18 caravans. Excellent amenities including a new toilet block
