Surrone House is situated in Gretna only a stones throw from the England Scotland Border 1/2 a mile from Gretna Green with its world famous Blacksmiths Shop. We are only 500 yards from the Gretna Registary Office, 200 yards from the Gretna Outlet Village with its Designer shops, this beautifully maintained and quiet non-smoking B & B establishment with views over the Solway, offering en-suite facilities, wi-fi Freeview TV in modern and spacious accommodation for guests to relax in. Gretna is the gateway to Scotland and an ideal base to discover the unspoilt beauty of Dumfries & Galloway with its many gardens and castles. The historic Borders and the rugged splendour of the Lake District and the Roman Wall built by Hadrian are all within easy driving distance. For the shopaholics the border city of Carlisle with its castle and cathedral nearby, 20 miles to the west is Dumfries home of the famous Scottish Bard Robbie Burns. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both within easy reach. After a days sightseeing or shopping why not unwind in our lounge with a drink either before or after having dinner.
