A warm and friendly welcome awaits guests at the Royal Marine Hotel, an attractive award winning hotel with many original features. The hotel has 41 bedrooms, 31 in the main building and 10 in the adjacent Lodge. Bedrooms are all well equipped and range from cosy singles through to premier sea view rooms with four poster or sleigh beds providing a choice for every budget. Please note that we are a lovely listed Victorian building and as such do not have a lift.

Downstairs Ghillies Cafe Bar has an informal style with an extensive menu of classic dishes, light meals and succulent grills. In the summer months al fresco dining or just relaxing can be enjoyed in Ghillies' spacious garden with spectacular seaviews. The elegant Kilcreggan Room offers dining in a more formal setting with freshly cooked table d'hote dinners. The smart Kintyre Suite is the ideal venue for conferences, wedding receptions and is also licensed for Civil Marriages/Partnerships.

The Royal Marine Hotel is located in an unspoilt area of Scotland where there are plenty of interesting walks and hiking opportunities. Guests can absorb the outstanding scenery whilst observing the abundant wildlife including native red squirrels, deer, pine martens, otters and visiting dolphins. Golf is a major attraction as the local area boasts 3 golf courses including the nearby magnificent Cowal Golf Course, with extensive facilities. Other activities include sailing, wind surfing, clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, pleasure cruises and fishing. A pleasant drive away are historic places of interest to visit and towns and villages to explore. To relax there are lovely strolls through the Botanic Gardens or the pretty Victorian town of Dunoon, with its numerous individual shops and tea rooms.
