A tidy and pleasant garden as you come to the house gives it a good impression to the passer by. The landlord quickly, but friendly sorted out my room and breakfast requirements.
The room was adequate with the usual room comforts: a tv (with an inbuilt dvd player), tea/coffee, towels and the like.
I found the bed to be very comfortable, everything very clean and pressed. I had a good nights sleep.
Breakfast in the morning was good and the dining room tidy, clean and pleasing. Read less

-A bad wireless internet connection in the room, could only use it whilst eating breakfast.
-Not a true 'en-suite' but good facilities nevertheless.

The room was warm and fairly clean. All appliances worked and it was quite as I was the only person staying in the B&B that night.

The Brenal is a comfortable guesthouse, situated very close to Oxford city centre on the Iffley Road - an area particularly popular with students who are living outside college. The house has won awards for its gardens, which make this a very pleasant place to stay. This is a modestly priced guesthouse and all the rooms have en-suite facilities. Family rooms are also available.
We are within 10 minutes walking distance to the city centre or 5 minutes by Bus. bus stop located directly outside. All the major attraction easily accessible, including shopping facilities, restaurants, universities and Colleges. River walks nearby
