Marine View is a family-run six bedroom guest house with a friendly, relaxed and informal atmosphere. Situated on the north cliff area of Scarborough on the Yorkshire coast, our guest house overlooks magnificent views of the north bay, offering comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation.
All of Scarborough's numerous attractions are within easy walking distance from the hotel, including blue flag north bay beach, the cricket ground, indoor bowls centre, south bay and shopping centre, the Stephen Joseph theatre and the beach and promenade. We are within easy reach of the famous Peasholm Park, Sea Life Centre and Scarborough's historic castle.
Marine View Guest House is non smoking throughout for the comfort of all. Our rooms are all en suite with central heating, colour digital TV, Hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. Ironing facilities are also available on request. We now have wi-fi access throughout. Guests will love our hearty, full English breakfast in our delightful dining room. We also cater for special diets on request, vegetarian, vegan, coeliac and lactose free.
Environmental Statement
Reducing - Waste where possible by thinking about what we buy and how we use it. Non-essential documents and emails will not be printed. We will annually review which internal documents and external publications are essential, if they are not they will be cancelled thus reducing waste and saving money. We will ensure all our printing and photocopying is done on double-sided paper.
Re-use - Wherever possible by trying to find a second life for items especially paper and office stationery. Scrap paper will be used for taking messages and writing notes.
Recycle - All paper, card, glass; plastic bottles and tins. Inkjet cartridges will be refilled or recycled. If furniture or IT equipment is being replaced then “Marine View” will seek to have those items reused or recycled. We will use/support social economy organisations to recycle materials as appropriate.
Buy Recycled - We will endeavour to change all disposable products used in bedrooms, bathrooms, to recycled.
