This accomodation is excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a superb bathroom. There was chocolate cake in our room on arrival, a bowl of fruit replenished daily, biscuits, bottled water, an assortment of teas and coffee. Breakfast was first class.
The location of Foulsyke put us off initially, however Scalby village is lovely, and Scarborough sea life centre is less than a 3 mile walk if you follow the river. There is a half hourly bus until 7pm if you prefer. Read less

The beauty of Foulsyke Farmhouse is its rural location however it is just 3 miles from Scarborough town centre, 12 miles from Whitby and 1/.2 mile from the north yorkshire national park. due to our location we offer peace and quite.

This, family run, bed and breakfast is perfect for a relaxing holiday or as a base for many outdoor activities. We are ideally situated for exploring the superb North Yorks coastline, Dalby Forest, Forge Valley, Cleveland Way and the famous North Yorks Moors. Within ten miles there are 5 Golf courses including the Ganton Championship course. It is the ideal centre for cycling and walking. There are miles of trailways on our doorstep to suit all ages and abilities. Foulsyke is approximatly 250 years old and retains many of it's original features we offer a spacious and elegant standard of charm. We provide a warm welcome with refreshments on arrival and an informal, relaxed atmosphere. Come in and unwind in our beautiful charming home, we love it and we are sure you will too. We have a tea room on site and a self catering cottage. Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets. Children welcome. Check-In time: 1400 and Check-Out time: 1000.
