the style of the room and layout, also the let yourself in system is great, no hastle of check-in..
Dislikes:
the bed was very creeky, you felt like you could not move, we had oriental, which was lovely apart from in the morning you could hear the room above very well.. all in all though lovely room.

I wasn't given the entry code. My room was locked. I rang the '24 hour reception' stating that there was a problem as my room was locked. It was a recorded message. I left my number and aasked to be contacted immediately. I'm still waiting nearly 24 hours later. I ended up gently forcing the door open. This had obviously been done by several other guests as the door 'gave' quite easily. Thank goodness I had no valuables with me! The room was nicely decorated, very homely and warm. Read less

Regretably the booking arrived after our reception closed at 19:00 and therefore no confirmation with door code was sent. Changes have been made to our system to avoid re-occurance of this in the future.

As well as being almost next door to the “Old Market” we benefit from easy access to the conference centre and the wealth of shops, bars and cafes; we are only a few minutes stroll from the seafront, the Sussex County Cricket Ground and the other city attractions.
