I stayed at the Sherwood for one night in January and wanted a warm, clean single room for a low price. That's exactly what I got, and even though the room was a little cramped, it was all that I hoped for. There was even a sea view. The bathroom was almost opposite the room and was large, clean and well-appointed. Breakfast was very good and I was able to get going for 07.50. There is parking outside, and on the sea front. We liked the fact that Jeanette and Jim were friendly and welcoming and that nothing was too much trouble.
They also accommodated our desire to change slightly the full English breakfast to our taste
Dislikes:
Only the thin walls.

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at this beautiful Victorian guest house which is run by Jim and Jeanette Morgan.
The house and its rooms have been restored to a very high standard. We are only 10 minutes walk from West St. Leonards station and within easy access of main roads to London, Dover and the west country.
There is plenty of unrestricted parking around the guest house and we are situated opposite the start/finish line of the Hastings Half Marathon. The shops, cinemas, theatres, castle and pier of Hastings are only a few minutes drive away.
There are many sights, events and activities to be enjoyed throughout the year in the local area as well as walking, swimming and much, much more.
