The Sword Inn Hand is a delightful 14th century free house, set in the picturesque village of Westmill, in the heart of rural Hertfordshire.

This ideal village setting is within easy reach of Buntingford, Royston, Stansted, Duxford and Hertford.

We enjoy calm, peaceful and well appointed surroundings and, as our guests, you can take pleasure in the unique quality and charm of our luxury, en-suite bedrooms. Each one individually styled with splendid views over the garden, open countryside and the village church.

During your stay you will also have the opportunity to sample some of the excellent food that we have on offer. Inspired chef, Peter Moor, takes great pleasure in creating mouth-watering menus from fresh, local produce delivered to us daily.
