"Really convenient for the conference centre, felt very welcomed, and breakfasts were great"
Really convenient for the conference centre, felt very welcomed by Anna, and full English breakfasts were great. Parking is available immediately outside the hotel and is free (unlike the hotels on the sea front). The main plus for us was that we could have 3 in one room - myself, my wife and my daughter. Coffee / hot chocolate and buscuits available in the room ended the day in a very pleasant manner. Read less

The Gladwyn is conveniently located overlooking Devonshire Park and has ten comfortable ensuite rooms which have all been refurbished and redecorated using unique themes and imaginative colours. We have single, double, twin and family rooms so families are more than welcome. We are also pet friendly, so well behaved pets are invited to accompany their owners at no extra charge.

Our public areas are all WiFi enabled (also at no extra charge) so you can even bring your laptop and pretend you are still at work! On the ground floor is the resident's lounge (with full licensed facilities) and downstairs you will find a large breakfast room which comfortably seats twenty five guests (but please don't all come down at the same time). We even have a garden for the exclusive use of our guests.

The Gladwyn is conveniently situated for a variety of local attractions including the new arts centre, parks, gardens, museums and the beach with its sweeping seafront and three tier promenade. The coastline is designated an area of outstanding beauty and the chalk cliffs of Beachy Head include a walkers route along the cliff tops. Close by are the charming villages of Alfriston, Wilmington & East Dean as well as Drusillas Zoo, Polegate Windmill, Michelham Priory, Pevensey Castle and Newhaven Fort.
