the room was clean, if a little old fashioned. the staff were freindly but not intrusive. Breakfast was lovely and I was offered a choice. the location was convenient for chester town centre and i had shops, a good quality pub and a couple of ATM within a very short walking distance. The hotel could have done with WiFi, and some up to date decoration, but for my needs (which was sleep, shower and breakfast) it was very comfrtable. I would stay there again. Read less

At night time Chester is a lively city with plenty of pubs and bars. A visit to Chester would not be complete without an outing to the famous Chester Zoo. Other local must-see attractions include: Grosvenor Museum, GatewayTheatre, Military Museum, Deva Roman experience, Cheshire Oaks and Blue Planet Aquarium.
