We were in South Shields on business for a brief overnight visit, and we were delighted with our stay at Ocean Breeze. A very warm welcome, a very comfortable room with spacious bathroom, and everything we could ask for, including dressing gowns, toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. We were able to walk to the guest house from the Metro station in about 10 minutes, so the location was very convenient for us. A comfortable night's sleep and would definitely return / recommend. Located in a quiet street only minutes away from the (North Marine Park, overlooking the harbour at the mouth of the River Tyne), beaches, funfairs and Town Centre shops, restaurants, clubs and bars.
Created to provide service and accommodation to hotel standards. All rooms have: co-ordinated furniture and décor in the ‘Scandinavian Style’, broadband internet (wireless), Flat screen TV. with DVD, (Room 3 has a 37 inch Plasma Wide Screen TV, Room 5 has a 32 inch LED TV), executive tea and coffee making facilities, black-out blinds, internal telephone, radio/alarm, hairdryer, mini drinks cooler, cooling fan, Thermostatic heating control, Pocket Sprung beds, with luxury Percale bedding, Luxury white fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. Other facilities are a Book / DVD Library, ironing facilities, trouser presses, and laundry service for long-stay guests.
Please note: (1): Check-in time from 5.00pm to 9.30, Check-out time 10.00am. Please indicate your estimated time of arrival. (2): All prices are for the room, including full English breakfast. Breakfast is served between 7.00 & 9.00am. (3): We do not accept stag/hen (single sex) parties. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets or accommodate children under 5 years of age.
