Welcome to The Anglers Arms, a family run traditional, Northumbrian country inn set on the banks of the River Coquet. Dating back to the 1760's, this four star hotel is full of antiques and quaint bric-a-brac. The walls are full of pictures and fishing memorabilia. On winter days, the open log fires are a welcoming treat.

It is superbly located, close to the delights of both coast and country, from glorious Coquetdale to magnificent Bamburgh Castle. Walk the Simonside Hills or fish on the Inn’s own one mile stretch of the River Coquet. Approximately one mile away, health/fitness/beauty facilities are available. The hotel has a sophisticated restaurant (we won the La Routiers 2007 award for Inn of the Year – The North) and a bar with a warm and friendly ambiance.

All of our cosy and welcoming en suite bedrooms have a touch of old world charm and are attractively furnished and well equipped. A hearty Northumbrian breakfast is included. Plenty of parking is available for guests.
