Dislikes:
Had the one room without an en suite but a lovely private bathroom. Still prefer an en suite but it wasn't a real problem.

We are in the ideal location for visiting the splendid attractions of the 'Secret Kingdom' of Northumberland and the wonderful Scottish Borders Region. Dramatic landscapes, the beautiful Heritage coastline, an abundance of castles and fine houses or the rolling hills and valleys will give you much to see and do.Within easy travelling distance of Holy Island, Bamburgh, Alnwick or boat trips to The Farne Islands from Seahouses. Just across the border you will find the historic Abbey towns of Kelso, Jedburgh and Melrose.
Excellent walks (for all abilities), golf, fishing, cycling, horse- riding, carriage driving and gliding all close by.
We offer excellent food using the best of local produce. Luxury accommodation with lots of thoughtful extras.
