As a family of five, two of whom are teenagers it can be very dificult to organise overnight accomodation where we are not split into two rooms. The 2adults + 3 children family room at Hardwicke Hall was excellent. I was advised when I called that the childrens beds were small but that we were welcome to stay. We found the room to be a very comfortable good size room and the annexe gave the children their own space. Read less

Friendly staff and it was convenient for the party we were attending. The bathroom was large and clean. The bed was comfy.
Dislikes:
The ceilings in the bedrooms were a bit dated.The kettle in the room had bits of limescale in and needed a good clean before we could make a drink,

The look of the hotel, the open fires and the fact that it was a very different environment from somewhere like a atandard Premier Inn.
Dislikes:
2 single beds instead of double booked. No hairdryer in my room. No clear instructions for ringing reception. No room service. Quality of rooms did not match pictures on website. Only terrestrial TV.

The online selection made by yourself was one double room for single occupancy and one TWIN room for single occupancy. Pictures of our twin rooms not shown on the web site. One of your rooms was as pictured exactly on our web site. Room service time and menus & telephone details are in the information folder in all rooms. House keeping report from the previous Saturday indicates that there was a hair dryer in the room, however as soon as you informed us one was missing a replacement was supplied

Easter 2010. From Thursday 1st April - Monday 5th inclusive. Stay any 2 or 3 nights Dinner Bed & Breakfast £45.00 per person per night in a double room.
Hardwicke Hall Manor Hotel is situated 2 1/2 miles from both Peterlee and Hartlepool, 5 miles from Seaham and 9 from Durham.
Hardwicke Hall Manor Hotel is furnished in a style befitting a traditonal manor house.
A classical country house atmosphere has also been lovingly retained throughout the bedrooms that have all been individually designed and furnished with care and attention. The Hotel is ideally situated between Peterlee and Hartlepool but is also in easy reach of Seaham, Durham, Teesside and Newcastle. The hotel has conferencing facilities. Fine dining is available in The Wedgwood Restaurant located at the front of house which is also an ideal wedding venue.
We serve food in our Bistro starting with Afternoon Tea, served between 3.00 & 4.30pm Monday to Friday and 3.30 & 4.30 on a Sunday. We also have a 2 course £9.95 early dinner menu Monday to Friday 5.00 to 6.30pm, with full Bistro menu also available.
