This guest booked a single-bed budget room on-line, with en-suite shower-room, An upgrade to a double bed en-suite bathroom was declined by the guest due to budget constraints. This single room had already been reduced to half the price of an executive room and offered good value for money for those on a restricted budget. If upon arrival a room is unsuitable for a guest, an alternative/upgrade is usually offered.

I booked on-line a single bed budget room as I was travelling alone. This room although compact, had all the facilities for a comfortable over night stay and excellent value for money. I was offered an upgrade to one of the the larger executive rooms, however the room booked & the price paid was adequate for my needs.
Staff are very obliging, Hotel immaculate and clean, food excellent. Superb location, free secure parking and free WiFi internet. Great Complimentary breakfast with good choice. Read less

Booking only a couple of days ahead, we thought the hotel might be over-elaborate and formal. However, we were delighted to be proved wrong - staff were well above average, and we were very happy to eat an unplanned, and very good, evening meal there. Tea/coffeee trays in the rooms were well stocked, as were the bathrooms with toiletries. The single room was quite small, with a sloping ceiling, but well equipped and adequate for an overnight stay. Ideally placed on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border, just off the A47 between King's Lynn and Wisbech, Elme Hall makes an ideal "base" for exploring the surrounding area and countryside. Wisbech Town centre is approximately 2 miles away. The historic market town still has a running market, as well as other other popular retail outlets along with several tourist attractions and places of interest, such as Wisbech Castle, Peckover House, The Octavia Hill Museum and Elgood's Brewery.
Budget, Standard and Luxury rooms offer clean and comfortable accommodation for whatever budget - from Single bedded rooms, doubles and family suites. All guest rooms are tastefully decorated and include on-suite facilities. Free Wi-Fi access is available along with direct dial telephones.
